Miller Climate Control

Our AC stopped working and the outside unit was buzzing but the fan wouldn’t spin. I initially thought it might be the capacitor and was even considering driving out of town to buy one myself. I called Miller Climate Control, and Carter and Will showed up quickly to take a look. Carter diagnosed the issue and found that the contactor had failed, not the capacitor like I suspected. He replaced it and had the system running again during the same visit. Will is a high school apprentice who was shadowing Carter and learning the trade. It was actually great to see that kind of mentorship happening. At one point I overheard Carter reminding him to take a photo before starting work so it’s easier to remember where all the wires go when putting things back together — which makes a lot of sense. Also appreciated seeing Carter mentor Will and explain the “why” behind the work instead of just rushing through the repair. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. They worked well together, explained the issue clearly, and got everything fixed quickly. Really appreciate the quick response and professionalism. I’d definitely recommend Miller Climate Control if you’re in the Cedar Park / Leander area.

My AC blower motor failed recently, but luckily it was covered under a 10-year extended warranty. After doing some research with Google Gemini, I was encouraged to find a local authorized provider and chose Miller Climate Control. ​The experience was excellent from start to finish. Melinda was incredibly helpful with the quick scheduling, and Gabe arrived on time to validate the failure. He confirmed they had the replacement part in stock, picked it up, and installed it the very same day! ​I had first noticed the issue at night when I heard a deep, repeating 'thud-like' sound. I originally thought it was coming from outside, but when I traced the origin of the noise, it led me straight to the unit. Highly recommend this team for their efficiency and honest service!

Had my AC quit cooling this past Saturday in Sun City. My maintenance provider claimed it would be at least a day before they could look at it. Chris Miller answered my call and both him and Levi came to my home within 2 hours. Levi diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. They were also reasonably priced for emergency services. They also have my maintenance plan now. I highly recommend these guys.

We have only been using Miller Climate Control for a little of 2 years but we switched from our previous company, not because they did anything wrong, but because Miller did everything right. They are courteous, professional, pleasant, competent and reasonably priced. They have additional regularly occurring service options, if desired, but they never push them. They fix things "right the first time" without a lot of hassle or added expense. They also explain issues clearly and have never treated my daughter or myself differently because we are women. You women out there know what I mean! We plan to continue using them as our "go to" company for the foreseeable future and highly recommend them. Locally owned and operated, not a franchisee or national company. That is important to us.
